I just got this from my friend for > cheap, and was thinking of messing around with some mods, so if you > know about some interesting projects I'd like to find out! you need to take it apart and spray contact cleaner into the switches and then press them continually until they stop sticking. my ex800 was in a fire and the buttons were messed up with the fire retardant shit. whatever you do don't use the radio shack "tv tuner control cleaner and lubricant". i tried that 1st and it only made it worse. took multiple applications of contact cleaner to restore functionality. it's been working great ever since - about two years so far. programming sliders(or knobs) are a great idea. anyone done this? i do live programming and the buttons suck for that. actually, they're not bad because they force you to do slow sweeps, and thus, retain dynamics. be nice to have the option tho'. shayne
