Hi, there were also some improvements during the mk1-phase: The first one's had no backup battery, all patches were lost when the poly800 has been turned off. 2nd step has some areas on its PCB so its possible to add a backup battery on your own. 3rd step has an in-built battery so the patches are never lost, also if you put away power supply and batteries at the same time! But, it often looses its patches if you connect it to a sequencer, I think that's fixed on the Mark 2?
