Display shouldn't read VRFY when you load data - only GOOD or ERR. Check this: - Mono cable goes from output of audio device to FROM TAPE on Poly 800. Don't use jack reductions, it can have bad contact. - On Poly 800: TAPE ENABLE, WRITE ENABLE. Set level as necessary - on Poly 800 switch, and in audio device. Press LOAD button, start to play audio with data. It must work. If not, elimination method is the best to find a problem: - try different audio device - try different cable - try different record - try different level I wouldn't use computer or MP3 digital player for playing data file - D/A converters can change data. Any small old cheap portable cassette recorder should work. Good luck. Daniel Forro On Apr 8, 2016, at 12:50 AM, carl.holmberg@... [korgpolyex] wrote: > > > Well the title sums it up.
