This is interesting. Have you tried using your CD-R drive to extract the
audio onto the HD and then burn it back to the same drive? This would clear
that question up regarding you CD-ROM drive.....

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
