You're buying a multiface, which has analog I/O, so why would you buy an 
extra convertor for your SPDIF??? I don't understand the reasoning 
behind that.
Your multiface will most likely work like this: you can use the coaxial 
connection for SPDIF and AES/EBU. You can also use the optical 
connection for the SPDIF signal. This is how my Digiface works and how 
the original Hammerfall also worked. RME is very flexible.
