Digital Ramsa DA7 mixer with Adat card.

The RME's AD/DA's are GREAT, but quite expensive... mostly because they
have such great specs and perfect analog circuitry. Of course you could
go for Apogee as well, but then you might as well buy a digital desk and
use its converters (which adds an entire desk to the AD/DA stuff :).

Well, I was going to buy the RME AD/DA as well, but then I looked at the
price and saw that if I paid 3 times as much as the AD/DA, I'd have an
entire digital desk. This desk doesn't only offer you AD/DA in good
quality, but also gates, compressors and 4band EQ on every channel, so
that's worth the investment. Next to that, I use it to control the audio
mixing of Logic as well: I use its faders and knobs to control Logic and
it works nicely. I'm happy with my setup and it works fine.
