>The closest thing to a >disparagement I saw was GA's comment that primitive people seek to accredit >things to supernatural entities that you reacted to. I didn't mean to disparage anyone in particular. I thought this was a well known fact. I still remember my first of college, and the anthropology professor hinted he didn't believe in God, and when some students tried to press him on it, he didn't want to say anything that would get him in trouble, so he finally said something like "All societies have a God or Gods to which they attribute unseen forces, and random acts." When lightening strikes, or a storm or eclipse occurs, these things were not understood. So that statement about the locusts brought by the crusaders as being the cause of all the problems in the middle east was just a bit hard to swallow....at least for me, but I could be high as a kite as far as anyone knows. However, this was not any personal attack/disparagement/etc on anyone. I better get off the computer now - the wind is blowing - a sure sign that God must be angry.
