1. I hope it won't take you by surprise that most of the Israelis don't approve those settlers. I think that it's the biggest mistake we ever did . I also hate the fact that we're wasting so much money in those settlements. I think that most of the people here think that there will be a Palestinian country , but the Israelis are trying to get everything written especially so that we won't have a country with an army attacking us everyday. today we're facing against a nation but at least it's not a country with official tanks and air crafts. I also think that most people don't understand that in 1947 the gave the Jews a country. we were fighting against Arab countries attacks and survived several war since than NOT the other way .the only war which is controversial is the 1982 war, which happened because there were missles and terror attacks from lebanon. what the palestinian wants is to destroy our country .I can and i want live side by side near a peaceful palestinian country , at least so they can blame their poverty on their own. believe me that they lived worser under the jurdan state until 1967. I don't want those territories , but in order to return them the israely side must get some agreement so they want fight us on every now and then. you sure don't want war which is 20km near your home. the problem with the palestinian -israel argument is not that we took their home it's that they want our homes.nobody forced them to open war in 1947 against us and They lost ,not us. yeep. bye. I'm off to my flight. p.s. as for the palestinian so called "truths" - they know and act as "if you repeat a lie enough times ,somebody will believe you" - thinking to them self if it's wasn't truth why would they repeat the same things ". -----Original Message----- From: Joeri Vankeirsbilck [mailto:joeri@...] Sent: Monday, October 29, 2001 11:45 AM To: logic-ot@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [L-OT] RE: The Real Cause is religion mixed with politic s > > >what pisses me off most the time is that the Israelis army are doing more >than any other army in the world ,trying not to kill, trying to keep >innocent people safe, unhurt - yet people are thinking we're the bad guys. > I think the reason is because there's too much violence. People are hoping for a peaceful solution. The Isreali army is very well equipped and the Palestinians are not, I think this adds to the bad image. I personally don't care much about these army attacks. What I do care about though is how Israel has continued to create new villages inside Palestinian area and how some Palestinians still live in inhuman conditions in refugee camps. Those are two more important matters to me... and I think it's exactly those two reasons that cause fundamentalism from Palestinian side. >again most of those palestinians who get killed in the last year are armed >people who got killed. > The widely spread image of the father protection his child, that was shot dead while trying to hide, definitely made the Israel army look bad. >I'm sorry and surely not happy >when some inocent people get killed ,but in war , and we are in "not >offical" war , inocent people get hurt. what we ,as israelies are try is to >minimise the number of innocent people get hurt while the palestinians are >using every effort to kill more people , while lying to the international >press. > The Palestinians are using terrorist attacks to get media attention. That's what suppressed people do sometimes. That's what the ANC did in South Africa decades ago as well. It's the only way for them to get attention to make their point. I definitely don't approve it. I hope there will be a peaceful solution for the Israel-Palestine matter one day. An official Palestinian state would be a good first step, but I must admit that I don't see how Jerusalem can be "split up"... :-( -- Joeri Vankeirsbilck joeri@...
