Since I am one of those 'everyone's' ......

If all you had really wanted to say was: "when the economy turns down then
musicians must also tighten their belts along with everyone else" then that
simple statement is surely what you should have stuck to saying. That very
simple declaration would have been just fine. However, it really did not
seem to me that this is all you were claiming .. and I have referred back
to your earlier posts and it still does not seem that way to me. I accept,
however, that I could have totally misinterpreted you .... so ......

If what you want is an admission from me that I was very wrong in
everything I said to you on this matter then you can have an immediate
retraction.

Dear GA Moore I was completely wrong in everything I said earlier. The
wealth of an economy does indeed "affect" both musicians and studios.

How you choose to interpret the word "affects" is entirely up to you.

I was very wrong in everything I said earlier about Mozart and Bach and
economics and elastic and inelastic demand and anything and everything
concerning those specific topics.

I am also very sorry to have crossed you ... I am very sorry to have
questioned you ... and I will try very hard never again to cross or to
question you on any other matter nor concerning anything you might have to say.

I hope it is enough for you that I have admitted to the error of my ways;
that I have bowed down and admitted to certain misconceptions about
economics and music; and I hope you will accept that I am very grateful to
you for having corrected all my earlier misinformation and for having
increased my knowledge.
