Hi Teddy,
I eventually went to the D'Addario web site to check those strings I talked 
about earlier, and the info there said that they made those strings 
specifically for the Jerry Jones. What strings do you use?

Sounds good. I think that Splattercell only mentioned the Dano's because my 
original mail made it clear that price was going to play a pretty big 
factor in my final decision.

However, I very much enjoyed your description of what it felt like to play, 
so I'll make sure that I spend a while checking them out. And as for what 
Splattercell said about the detuning and stuff, I might try that also. I 
might even rip off the frets and go all Jaco Pastorius. Yeah!!!
