Thanks a lot for the info about the strings, and also about the proper 
tunings for a baritone as against the Fender VI. I did not know that.

OK. I'll try to find one very soon when I go shopping. First, the moolah, 
though. $700 is top end of my budget, but you've made it sound worth the 
extra expense.

I can hear it in my head now, but I will give it a closer listen, 
definitely. I did not know that Allman played on that cut, actually.

think I'm doing the right thing to get the sounds I want.

I'm working on becoming one of those. I'm writing WAY too much about the 
history of mathematics and silly stuff like that at the moment, though.
