Hi all! Normally it is no problem. I always used a normal Cinch cable as SP/DIF which was no problem (unless the cable length doesn't exceed 1-1.5 m). That's the nice thing about SP/DIF and AES/EBU: the format is nearly the same and the exchange of the 2 is normally no problem!
