The Sennheiser is the first one I bought and I didn't listen before buying it. Biiig mistake: these are DJ headphones! Too many bass frequencies and you definitely can't use them as a reference. For DJ's however, it's great: It's LOUD (really!) and they shield you from outside noise. However, the "caps" (is that the right word?) are small so after some hours, your ears hurt. The Sony: my best headphones without any doubt. The 7509 has a very balanced sound and can be used as a reference. Feels great, sounds great and is best built of the three (although the "fold" mechanism (you can fold them up) doesn't work anymore on mine). I love them!
