Ok, it is absurd to place more significance on the suffering of someone who is a celebrity or the child of one than on that of the rest of us, and it's a misuse of the lug to solicit funds for someone's medical treatment. OTOH it is not safe to assume that just because this guy once played in little feet he is set for life. Also if you are a father having trouble raising funds to take care of your child's medical condition and someone offers to help for whatever reason you would probably be inclined to accept it rather than let your son pay for your pride with his suffering.
