Try looking for a category like "Sound Video and Game Controllers" or Sounds or Multimedia -- once you tell it the category of device you are installing Windows will know what it is dealing with. This is a pretty stupid oversight in Windows I think -- should have been fixed before XP -- you have all these "Hardware Wizards" and inf files to identify the device. Once you get the procedure for installation right write it down for yourself in a text file so you will be able to do it again another time. Regards, Murray
