That's the strategy of Mac now. They're buying Emagic imo because they 
want to show that Mac is for pro's. If they didn't buy it, they would be 
proven wrong.

As a beta tester, I can tell you that I'd rather leave Emagic than be 
used for such purposes. I think that feeling goes for most testers.
And I don't think what you say is possible either. Apple and Emagic are 
not "that" integrated (yet).
