Hi, I just wonder if anyone out there has any experience with 
connecting an external monitor to a powerbook G3. I have made 
some tests with an Apple 17 inch set up beside my PB with the 
same resolution (1024 x 768) but did experience some 
chrashes to the system.

Does connecting an external monitor drain considerably more 
cpu power from the system? Should I make any changes to the 
system folder (9.2.2 does have a lot of display related 
extensions...).

Any other limits? Would I be able to add say a 1200 x 1024 
monitor? (In addition to the built in).

My PB is a pismo G3 500 mHz with 512Mb Ram, running 9.2.2. 
Logic 5.2, Pulsar II (x2) in a Magma chassis.
