The Logic Off Topic list

presumably most of you are on topic too.

i'm seriously tired of scanning the logic list at yahoo. i think the 
people and the spirit of the thing is marvelous. however, the fact 
that it's based at yahoo with all that that entails is pissing me off 
to the point that i barely bother going there, and here, any more. if 
that's how i feel, others are feeling it too.

i'd like to have each topic self contained in it's own thread - like 
every response to this post would show up as only the one topic 
but with any responses contained within the one topic thread - 
you'd have to click on the topic to access the answer or to submit 
your response.

also, as a surfer and non email receiver i find the advertising at 
yahoo extremely objectionable.

i hope i'm not alone.
