Yes, if that would be possible...  I know this probably means a lot 
more effort (and thus time) on your side, so I don't know how 
feasible it is, but personally I have the feeling that the LUG 
becomes rather unreadable at the moment.

Then there's also the problem that Sascha notes -- that many 
completely crappy threads are, strictly speaking, ON topic, like all 
the "when will 4.7 be there" posts and such.  Maybe it's true that 
these threads waste even more bandwidth than the truly OT ones.  I 
wouldn't know how to deal with this either...

Personally I still believe that forcing every LUGger to subscribe to 
the OT list would be the best solution...
