just eject it in that case. this is what happens when you don't have the 
right extensions in your system extension folder. if necessary re-install the 
dvd softare so it will put the right extensions in your folder. You can also 
look through the extensions and control panels in the extension manager and 
try to turn on the right things, but it seems there is often something you 
don't expect to have an affect.. for example "USB authoring".
