Let me also thank you sincerely for your work on LUG; it is much appreciated.
With regard to the general topics, such as :-
When is..........?
Mac vs. PC.....?
What monitors, headphones etc. ?
are entirely OT. Could you move them all to the OT List?

Discussions of techniques of using LAW or LAM are the reason that I use the list. The tips are worth their weight in gold, especially anything by Hendrik, Sascha et al. 

Perhaps, for a period of, say, a week, you could bounce mails which do NOT use the headings protocol,  which quote excessively and inappropriately, which show an intolerant attitude, and which add nothing to the list. You could see how the quality and quantity of posts is affected.
