The Logic Off Topic list

Hi,

After installing DirectX8 on my Win98se partition, Logic didn't start up
anymore.
I've tried to remove it by editing the registry, using DirectX removal
programs (3 of them), reinstalling DirectX 7.0, 6.0 and 5.0.... nothing
helped. For some people DirectX 8.0 works, for some it doesn't. Some can
uninstall it correctly on their system, some can't. All I can now do is
format my harddisk. So, my tip to everyone: do NOT install DirectX
8.0!!!
