Actually, I've written quite a few solo guitar pieces on acoustic. The only one you can hear right now is "Bro Breau" on my mp3.com site, which started life on a steel string acoustic, but sounds better on the Paul, IMO. I was going for the electric sound/tone Lenny got on his first real jazz album, "The Velvet Touch of Lenny Breau - Live." But, I've yet to hear anyone play Jerry Reed's "The Claw" on electric though, too...
