Screw you, buddy...

Subject: Truth about eating and different languages

For those of you who watch what you eat... Here's the final word on
nutrition and health, and it's a relief to know the truth after all
those conflicting medical studies:

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than
the Canadians, British or Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and also suffer fewer heart attacks
than the Canadians, British or Americans.

3. The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart
attacks than the Canadians, British or Americans.

4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and also suffer
fewer heart attacks than the Canadians, British or Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages
and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Canadians, British or
Americans.

6. Ukrainians drink a lot of vodka, eat a lot of perogies, cabbage
rolls and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Canadians, British or
Americans.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently
what kills you.

Best regards,
...z

I dunno man, I'm primarily a guitarist, so PT would probably bore the living
hell outa me... ;)

(Seriously, I used PT a few years ago and vastly prefer Logic [still using
LAMP 4.8.1 on OS 9.2.2], plus I need the great sequencer, too.)

what does being a guitarist have to do with anything? In my world (also, gtr
oriented) PT is for mixing and Logic is for composing/scoring. An acoustic
gtr is for writing songs with lyrics. An Otari 8 track 1/2 is for tracking a
rock trio. A vibrator is for... etc.

More than one place to do (almost) the same thing. :)

Actually, I've written quite a few solo guitar pieces on acoustic. The only
one you can hear right now is "Bro Breau" on my mp3.com site, which started
life on a steel string acoustic, but sounds better on the Paul, IMO. I was
going for the electric sound/tone Lenny got on his first real jazz album,
"The Velvet Touch of Lenny Breau - Live." But, I've yet to hear anyone play
Jerry Reed's "The Claw" on electric though, too... Gotta tackle that beast
someday, amazing chunk of musicianship, "clawed" on an acoustic... :)

An Otari? I haven't even SEEN one of those in about 15 years... ;)

In that context it's revealing you don't comment on the other piece
of equipment...
