The Logic Off Topic list

What does a man do who uses a little Fender Pro Junior tube amp to record his guitar parts into Logic, and now needs an overdrive pedal to recreate the more distorted, cranked-up sounds on stage? 

I´m not sure if it´s even possible to recommend stompboxes to anyone. It´s such a personal matter and has so much to do with the guitar, the amp.....and so on. I have maybe 10 different overdrive/distortion pedals and all of them have different strenths. Not even the quite expensive ones like Matchless or Fulltone will neccesarily do a better job than a cheap Marshall. It depends what  "more distorted cranked-up sounds" means to you. Ritchie Blackmoore or Steve Lukather, both qualify but they certainly don´t sound similar. So what I´m saying is shop around, if it sounds right it is right.
