There is a class action law suit against Apple, and apple is offering to 
replace ipod batteries for $99. I read somewhere that said after a year and half 
the batteries go bad. I paid $499 for my 30g and its not going in the trash any 
time soon. My battery acts a little strange at times, but it seems to be ok 
despite being 1.5 years old. Its the main place for me to listen to music - 
while biking or walking.
