Don't know about the SCSI compatibility and stuff, etc., etc.... But, I do know that it is EXTREMELY important to use the DISK UTILITY on the Panther Disc #1 BEFORE upgrading. (Once you start up from the CD, immediately select the DISK UTILITY from the menu above). Make sure that you run the REPAIR DISK and REPAIR PERMISSIONS several times until you get no errors at all (on the physical hard drive volume, as well as the partitions that you have (even if only the main one)).... Then upgrade choose the "Archive and Install" option (since you don't want to "Erase and Install") and choose to preserve your user and network settings, etc.... You might not even have to reinstall Logic this way at all....
