I also run Logic on a dual processor Mac and none of these problems affect
my system. If you want help to sort out the misbehaviours of the system you
are using you have to provide a little more information like operating
system, audio interface etc

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
