I found that lot's of cuts and splicing is what makes the song file 
grow bigger and bigger. A producer friend of mine (kind of a 
maniac!!) usually has songs about 7 MB because of this.

Saving your work and then saving the song in a new song with all the 
audio merged and optimized will significantly reduce the file size.
