Asus P4C800E Deluxe is widely regarded as one of the best but it is pricier. Get a P42.8C/3.0C processor and 1 - 2 GB of DDR400 (brand name) Decent case and powersupply is a very good idea IMHO If you are going AMD there are a bunch of choices according to processor (Athlon/Athlon64) RME forums - rme-audio.forum on news.x-networks.de has recommendations from users on what to choose. You could also look on www.TomsHardware.com/Anandtech.com for recomendations. The choice could depend on your sound hardware and what is working for people with that card/Interface. Regards, M
