Can you be more specific? Suppose you want to time correct a beat. This is what I do. I make a rough cut of the audio file on the arrange page. Then click on the section to bring up the sample editor. Then you can move the starting point, but make sure you select the menu option NOT to update arrange position. Before or after, you open the event listeditor to move that audio to 1 1 1 1 (or use shift drag and look at the popup event list for that one item) This is an area of Logic which is clumsy. I really wish they would overhaul it. Make a grid, be able to move things around on the sample window to snap to the grid. Otherwise its amazingly time consuming and picky work. It helps to have some keycommands set up, with different zooms, move to front or back of selection, etc. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
