I only have the Pioneer model that Apple rebrands as the SuperDrive 
(which works wonderfully BTW and is available separately) but if I was 
in the market for a new one I would absolutely put Plextor at the top 
of my list, having nothing but great success with every Plextor CD-R 
drive I've ever owned. Unless they've pulled a Sony on us I can't 
imagine anything from them being subpar.
