I first worked extensively with them in a studio I used to work in a lot. They had a pair of them and they sounded great. Couple years later I upgraded my own studio and was happy to buy one. It kept breaking down. Seemed to be heat related. After three times I insisted the distributor give me a new one. This new one has been rock solid for 18 months and somehow sounds better as well. Terribly subjective thing to say I know, but some other colleagues felt the same also...? I get the feeling that the sound of valve gear in particular can differ significantly from unit to unit. Even brand new off the assembly line. Buyer beware.... :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Paul Najar Jaminajar Music Production www.jaminajar.com
