The Logic Off Topic list

can anyone help me?  I can't syncronize audio to midi for some reason.
I've tried:
-changing the sample rate and changing it back again.
-in the sycronization page under 'audio' I've changed it to free and clear ( actually tried all 
the settings but none fix the problem.
-I've deselected all the functions under 'midi syncronization'
-ran the  logic setup wizard thinking it might reset the problem but that didn't work.

It was all running fine for months and right in the middle of a project without changing a 
thing, this started to happen.
