shifted grid position

2005-12-12 by Peter Naugler

Occasionally after I have quantized I'll notice that all the notes have
shifted a bit on the grid. I usually select all of them and manually
slide them back only to find that it has occurred in all the audio
instruments. Any idea what's going on? I'm using Logic Pro 6 OS X.

A similar thing... in my arrange I have accidentally shifted the
starting point in the arrange to a minus so that the starting point is
no longer 1. When that has happened I just live with it because I
haven't figured out how to reset it. It happens when I'm moving
sequences or audio regions or resizing and the cursor slips into the
"1" area of the bar ruler. I see it shift but can't figure how to undo
it.

One last question, in Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" there's a hooky
instrument that starts right after the drums. Does anyone know if that
sound is included in Pro 6? I can't remember running across it in the
synthesizers.

Thanks Peter
