The Logic Off Topic list

Does anyone of you use the Focusrie Liquidmix?

I spent about $1.500 during the last months for several compressor  
and EQ plugins. Now I found out that the Liquidmix is way cheaper.  
Does that device really deliver different sounds or can it be seen as  
one plugin suite with a Liquidmix sound?
