This depends on if I'm doing some drum n bass stuff or not. Rock stuff 
is mostly in this 1-and-3 fashion.

That would be too time consuming for me, I think. But it's whatever it 
takes to get it right. I'd like to hear some things that you done that 
way, to see for myself what the end result is. Maybe you can put 
something up at Rocket, that is a good example of what you get 
doing it that way.
