I've owned snd stil have an old Ensoniq SQ-1 PLUS keyboard and a new Korg bought last year and I still prefer the sound and feel of the Ensoniq it just doesn't have all the bells and whistle and complications of the new ones. Ensoniq is quite preferable to me in my opinion but like you said the resale value is low. I don't know why.
