Completely agreed on.

This topic has been raised before a few years or so back - and well, what
can I say? I got a bunch of Monster cables to test with my live guitar rig
(basicallly 4 of them - for the "main" connections, from the guitar to the
pedal board, from the pedal board and back to an insert loop and the final
output, with 2 more of them as a spare), and while they are certainly nice
cables, I simply gave them back (to a friend who is some sort of endorser,
even if he's currently re-thinking things). Could've kept them for free, but
I just don't support any such tactics. In addition, there's cables for *way*
less, sounding just as good to my ears, at least for instrument purposes (in
Germany, Rockinger is supplying quite some nice pre-made cables for a lot
less, but personally, I still prefer to just solder them myself).

I really don't give a flying f*** whether there's lifelong warranty or not.
I've got more than enough cables that I've soldered like almost 20 years
ago - and they're still working. In case they wouldn't, I'd just either
resolder them or get a new cable for 5 bucks, still using the same Neutrik
plugs that I've bought back then. And I don't expect to get any older than
200 years.

And well, there's simply no excuse to support any such business tactics at
all. More to the opposite (actually, *exactly* to the opposite). In other
words: That Noel Lee dude can happily rot in hell for what he's trying to do
to folks. And yes, I'm serious. That's just no way to found an even remotely
proper business.

And fwiw, finally there's serious folks speaking up. See this:

I seriously wish Kurt Denke all the success in the world.

Sascha
