Using Recycle with the EXS-24 or an Akai sample makes it much faster and
easier to do complex loop edits using the matrix editor.
Sure, you can do that in the arrange window with audio, but if you want to
fine tune the timing? You have to open the Event List - which is far from
ideal.
Then of course you may want to detune just one of the samples
non-destructively to hear what it sounds like.
I wouldn't argue that you can get better results with a sampler - just that
you can get there quicker.
