Of the cheapo ones I have used ones from Tascam and from Re'an. The
Tascams are garbage the Re'an ones are lasting pretty well.

Best 1/4" PB I've found is made by Pro-Co. 48 point, switchable, no exposed cards, Getting rare and a little harder to find. Also a little more expensive.

You would think not but the Tascam ones connections go bad and the
plastic sleeves around the inputs are so wimpy they get stressed and
simply start to fall apart after about a year.

The re'an one I have has after about 6 years of hard use also started
to get a little dodgy in a couple of the modules. Tokyo weather
seems to be really hard on Jacks and switches. I am constantly have
to clean fix and replace the ones on my guitars and everything else.
