Great Dutch Rock 'n Roll Loss: Herman Brood commits suicide

Great Dutch Rock 'n Roll Loss: Herman Brood commits suicide

2001-07-12 by yoonchi@chello.nl

What a waste, what a waste. Why do these guys commit suicide while they're so talented?
Herman Brood, a real Dutch Rock n Roll star, commited suicide yesterday by jumping of the Amsterdam Hilton.
His last words, which he left in a note, were(roughly translated): Have a party. And maybe I'll see ya again.

To bad.

Why? To quote Brood: "dope sucks". But it _is_ a shame indeed...

SV: [L-OT] Mac/PC How unpack .sit on a PC?

2001-07-18 by Per Boysen

Hi guys,

I just got a huge ".sit" archive to my PC. Mailed it to my Mac for unpacking but it's too big to bring back uncompressed on floppies. And my ISP do not allow mail attachments at that size. So I guess the best way to get on with this is to un-sit it on the PC.

Can anyone recommend a Windows software that unpacks a Mac sit archive?

Regards

Per Boysen

Ok, I see - that's why I did not know. I have been stumbling in PC land for two and a half years now. Only used Macs before that... and Ataris of course ;)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
