Yeah and now the 1 0000000 dollar question is:
Is dual 800 mhz machine faster than single 867 mhz machine ?
Considering that the 2nd CPU only handles GUI, MIDI and screen redraws ?
Anyone care to comment ?

Cheers

The dual machine has a total of 4 MB of Cach, vs 256 on chip cach on the
single, also you get a dual display card, larger hard drive and more ram,the
parts are probably cheaper to buy, but its nice to have it as package from
the factory.... And I would think that its a better investment in the long
run.....

Well actually the 867 mhz machine has 2 mb cache which is also a bit
faster (217 -> 200)
than the 800 mhz cache...
