The Neutrik 1/4" has worked for the last year ok, except even right
out of the box, you sometimes have to wiggle the plug around to get a
good connection.

I have four Neutrik NYS-SPP-L patchbays and I'm afraid I would NOT recommend
them.
As one other poster said, you often have to jiggle the plugs around to get a
good connection.
Coming from a company like Neutrik, they are a huge disappointment. I
constantly get channels and signals disappearing, and the source of the
problem is always the patchbays.

That's very odd. I have eight of the NYS-SPP-L patchbays, and they
have been *completely* trouble free. I've never had any problem with
them whatsoever.

Is it possible that you're having problems with either your patch
cords or the cables hooking things up from the back? You wouldn't
happen to be using the old style telephone jack type patch cords that
aren't designed for these bays, are you?

BTW, I've got a no-smoking studio, and I do treat connectors with
Caig Pro-Gold from time to time.

Also, wasn't Rean bought out by some other company?
