It's a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone here knew of a good source
of midi files of contemporary songs, specifically urban stuff like Little
Missy's 'Get your freak on' and other MTV top40 stuff; I want to incorporate
some cover versions in my live show.

The songs are simple enough - I'll probably just transcribe them out myself,
but if they are lying around on the web for the taking, it would save me an
evening I could spend being more creative.

Hi,
    You need to check out "PhatBeats" ( http://phatbeats.cjb.net/ ) - it's THE place for Urban/R & B/ Hip-Hop etc. Most of the programming is top-notch and the site is usually fairly up-to-date. There was another site call "Fresh Midis" that had a great selection of current top 40 tracks, but they seem to dissappeared somewhere into the matrix.
