 david, i had a look round shareware music machine and came up with this
one:

Dunno if it'll do all you want

hmm, free is cheap. I'll check it out, it looks interesting, it may

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
