OK, I'll be the judge.... if all Palestinians have your mindset, then it's hopeless for your people... I feel sorry for you.

I feel sorry for you. Is this my old mate Marc "don't be a hater" Lindahl talking? I don't want to see this sort of shit doing on any Logic list -- off topic or not.

I feel sorry for all the Haters out there... if you think that's shit, I guess you're a Hater? This is my message to the Haters: "Black, Red, Yellow, or White, we don't have to fight, we can Unite," you can hear the song we wrote (once you join the site, which is free and you don't get spammed), here: http://www.bowery.com/hiphop/Downloads/united.mp3/view That's basically all I have to say.

Hi Marc, Logic -- the syllogism kind -- would not appear to be your stongpoint. I was disturbed by your comments which proceeded from things relating to Bashar to things relating to "all Palestinians." How would you like it if someone made statements about "all Americans" based on the utterances of one? I wouldn't care to read that here either. Why would you want to wade into what is obviously a poisonous personal exchange between two others and take sides against someone who is being racially abused. Why appoint yourself judge -- even in response to the rhetorical invitation -- did you see something appealing in what was sent to Bashar? I have no personal stake in this matter beyond wanting to see us treat each other decently. If you meant nothing offensive by your post, then perhaps you could choose your words more carefully. Regards, Murray

Computers seem like magic to some, too. > > I was disturbed by your comments which proceeded from things relating to > Bashar to things relating to "all Palestinians." It's amazing how people can pull something so far out of context. Did you notice that little but powerful word 'if'? > > How would you like it if someone made statements about "all Americans" > based on the utterances of one? I wouldn't care to read that here either. If they said 'if', then I wouldn't get bent out of shape. In fact, in these threads those statements have been said, and I've chimed in with my views on how us Americans are thinking & feeling these days, in an often vain attempt to bring some perspective to the arguments. > > Why would you want to wade into what is obviously a poisonous personal > exchange between two others and take sides against someone who is being > racially abused. This is incendiary and lacks understanding. If you think I condone any of the Hateful posts going around, I feel sorry for you, you must have a dim view of humanity if you assume that someone you don't even know would think that way. > > I have no personal stake in this matter beyond wanting to see us treat each > other decently. It seems you do have a personal stake in this. Otherwise, why lambaste me instead of the Hateful posters? > If you meant nothing offensive by your post, then perhaps > you could choose your words more carefully. If you don't read all my words, what does it matter? It's hopeless.

This was my private letter to Mike Cover, so you be the judge.... ------ Forwarded Message
From: LogicBaby <basharar@...> Date: Wed, 26 Sep 2001 01:23:25 +0000 To: Mike Cover <vista500@...> Subject: Re: [L-OT] A Desire To Learn You know, at first I did not want to bother replying because you sounded like a Taxes cowboy ready to shoot. Anyhow Mike, I thank you for recognizing the Palestinians right for freedom and not to be abused with US tax money and weapons, I truly thank you. Second, I want to enlighten you before you go claiming all Muslims are terrorists, I am a Muslim myself and I strongly condemn what bin laden and gang are doing, this has nothing to do with the teachings of Islam, unfortunately some places in the middle east are living like Europe in the dark ages where the church had all the power in the name of God. God, Allah, Yahweh,Jesus, Moses, Mohamed "whatever his God damn name is" never preached to kill a fellow human being. I just hope that you be more careful distinguishing between terrorists "claiming to be fighting a chicken shit holly war" and a religion that recognizes Judaism and Christianity as belonging to same God, Why don¹t you call the IRA Catholic terrorist, or the Zionist gangs that whipped villages in Palestine of the face of the earth Jewish terrorists..... May peace be upon you and your family, I can understand how bitter and angry you are over all this, I have been living in fear for ages because my family lives in the west bank and the neighboring settlement shells our neighborhood every night...... Bashar ------ End of Forwarded Message

This is what I thanked Make Cover for if you have a problem with it Marc Lindahll http://groups.yahoo.com/group/logic-ot/message/1506 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> The US needs to find ways of supporting Israel which don't give them a blank check to abuse the Palestinians. Also the US population needs to be given a fairer view of what is happening over there. I think the Moslems have to stop preaching death and hatred. I think they need true relgious scholars who heard of the 10 commandments. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< And this is Mike Cover first raciest Hate letter that I choose to IGNORE >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Raising yo kids to become sand terrorists?? >I feel sorry for all the Haters out there... if you think that's shit, I >guess you're a Hater? Its not so simple. Hate comes from injustice and from prejudice/brain washing. If your wife was killed in the WTC, wouldn't you hate the terrorists? In Israel/Palestine, both parties have lost, and both have good reason to hate. Both have lost civilians. But both parties needs to rise above the cycle of hatred. That would start with fairness and justice and equality.
