sorry if i further confused the issue, by not having absorbed yer original 
post.
btw, fwiw: no drugs nor alcohol, in my system..... other than caffeine & 
occasional nicotine.

Assuming the 'reward for talent and hard work' paradigm ?
 What 'They' all 'do' is 'move product'.
 An analogy would be a neurology specialist selling painkillers. He is
highly qualified in the field, but does he deserve more or less
remuneration than a bingo caller doing the same job if he moves
equivalent amounts of product?

 Talent earns you kudos from your peers [sometimes] and return sales
when your label has dropped you for another bingo caller, or
neurologist.
