You can achieve almost the same effect with a bit more work in Logic. 
Take an audio file from the arrange that is synched to tempo and use
'strip silence'.  The audio gets get up into little regions for each
sound according to your specification.  Then when you change the tempo
all the regions adjust to the new tempo.  Easy!

'Easy' if the sounds onsets in the loop are clearly delineated, like drums. But
next to useless on a sustained but varying  sound...
