OT/ Your signature gives a clue..................

2000-12-07 by John Matthews

Hey Mark,
do yourself a favour- take the address and your phone number off your e-
mail signature, and register on mailling lists with a nick-name, not your
real name, and its much harder for a thief to know where to steal your
guitars from!

just a thought

My sympathies go out to you though................
Seriously, I'd die if someone stole my babies, and if I didnt die, I'd kill
the mutha f*\ufffd&ing low -life thief!!!!!!!!!

Early this summer my flatmate and I had all our guitars and amps stolen,
bar one amp, cab and bass cab. The thing is we were asleep in our rooms
at the time!!

Its a really horrible feeling that creeps slowly over you; the dawning
realisation that someone has violated your living space and stolen items
that are -precious- to you!

I find it irksome when people don't use their full names. The least
civilized forums are inevitably the ones where everyone hides behind
aliases, and the most civilized are inevitably the ones where everyone takes
public responsibility for their words by attatching their full names and
contact information to their posts.

Yes, I agree,
but to put your full name and address and phone no (whether work or home)
about on the internet could just be asking for trouble. Its a lot more
irsksome to have your gear nicked.
